PAE informs that the call for registration for the 2016 edition of its University and Technical Degree Scholarship Program is still open
The scholarships will benefit students from the Golfo San Jorge Region who have a high grade- point average and wish to pursue higher education studies related to the oil and gas industry. Closing date for registration is March 18th.

To show its renewed commitment to the future and the training of the young people in the region, Pan American Energy (PAE) is pleased to report that the registration for the 2016 edition of its “University and Technical Degree Scholarship Program” is still open for students from the Golfo San Jorge Region.
The program seeks to facilitate the access to university or technical degrees and the completion of their studies to students who have a good academic record but lack the means to pay for their studies.

Applicants must comply with the following requirements: be Argentine-born (or naturalized by option), have been a permanent resident (at least for two years) in Comodoro Rivadavia, Sarmiento Caleta Olivia, Pico Truncado or Rada Tilly and have obtained a grade-point average equal to or higher than 7 over 10.

In Comodoro Rivadavia, the scholarships will be given at National University Patagonia San Juan Bosco (UNPSJB) to students who wish to pursue studies in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Geology.
In the north of the province of Santa Cruz, the scholarships will be given to students who wish to pursue studies in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or a Technical Degree in Oil Engineering at the National University from Patagonia Austral, either in Caleta Olivia and Pico Truncado.
Silvia Gastón, from PAE’s Institutional Relations, explained, “We are very happy with the scholarships for 2016. We have been able to diversify the range of academic proposals, and included the Technical Degree in Oil Engineering. To the traditional courses of studies offered by the College of Engineering, we have added Geology, delivered at the College of Natural Sciences, and have thus responded  to the demands posed by the students.”
Candidates must send the information requested by March 18th, 2016. The Program´s terms and conditions, and the enrolment form, are available at:
Candidates who wish to apply should go to and complete the enrolment form, or write to . Closing date for registration is March, 18th.
